Important Reminder: Diane, Club President is continuing to remind members and students about keeping your passwords in a location that is accessible to your spouse or designated beneficiary. Passwords mean accounts and devices, (such as iPads, iPhones, tablets, mobile phones, laptops, desktops).
For Example on Devices: Ask yourself this question - "Does my spouse know my Apple ID"? If something happens to you - your device cannot be, used, given to anyone/family, traded-in or sold if you cannot reset that device and you need the log-in/password, in order to reset or update. Note: Windows or Apple will NOT help you, even with a death certificate - you will encounter enormous frustration and roadblocks! Why cause your spouse/beneficiary that trouble?
For Example on Accounts: (such as Facebook): Ask yourself this question - "Can my spouse or designated beneficiary SHUT DOWN your Facebook account after you are deceased"? If not, your Facebook account (and, other social media that you signed-up for) will continue on after your death.
Computer Club President and Class Instructor. Also, gives private tutoring.
